Position description:

• You will be working on enterprise-level database and data warehouse projects. Your tasks will include analytical work at the database level, preparation of functional specifications for developers, revision of code written within BTEQ scripts, management of a small team of developers and active participation in the preparation and implementation of testing.
• The job will offer you opportunities to participate in international projects in Central and South-Eastern Europe (job locations Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Romania and similar).

Requirements:

For your work you will need:
• Practical experience with database and / or ETL development (good knowledge of Teradata DB)
• Practical experience with technical analysis on DWH projects
• Practical experience in leading a small team of people (3-4) on DWH projects
• Practical experience in coordinating Go Live and testing activities (SIT, UAT) on DWH projects
• Practical experience with using BTEQ scripts
• Practical experience with SQL language
• Scripting in a UNIX environment is an advantage
• Knowledge of data warehouses and architectures, concepts and best practices
• Knowledge of banking is a prerequisite
• Experience with similar work min. 3 years
• Very good knowledge of English (knowledge of CEE language is a supplement (optional)) – English is required, all meetings and communication takes place in English
